Devlog #10 - Creature Time!

This week in Intermediate Game Development...We're just talking about our final like a normal devlog! So I'm gonna do that now.

This week me and my team managed to finish up a score system and start modeling creatures which was pretty fun!
We also STILL haven't had a single merge conflict, which is the biggest relief for a project like this when we've accidentally worked on teh same scripts already. We have a scoring system working in the game, but it's a little buggy unfortunately.

The issue that's specifically is happening is, we're trying to capture the objects that are within the camera and that are visible, but either this is a weird Unity thing or a problem we're facing because we haven't gotten rid of the sculpted terrain yet - but what's happening is, if I take a photo sometimes it'll get creatures that are no where near the camera which is messing with the scoring system. It's a tad frustrating, but I think I may have an idea on how to fix it.

Next week, according to our "ideal timeline" animate our models, add the models in the scene more accurately, do a lot of polishing, debugging, and big fixing as well as start on sound design stuff! I have no clue what direction we want to go for with the music, but I'm excited to get to do that next week.

That's all I really have to report for this week. For now, here's a very weird horde of "bugs".
